We ended our tour with a tasting of the various olive oils made at this facility and appreciated the time Nick took with us. Truly a great experience and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in seeing how olive oil is made. I’m hoping to return during the production season to see the equipment in action! If you have time, in addition to this tour I would also visit the cheese farm up the road. This pairing creates for a total authentic Cretean experience.

We found the place by chance, but we loved visiting it. Even though we had some difficulty speaking English, the owner was very friendly and helpful. He explained the process to us and gave us some olive oil to taste. We love the way they welcome anyone and show the family business with great affection. Unfortunately we couldn’t bring anything, as we only traveled with a backpack, but we really appreciated your attention. Thank you 🥰

We stumbled across this place and decided to visit. It looked closed but the owner came out and opened up. We were with some guests who wanted to buy some olive oil to take home.
We all tested the olive oil – there was a milder one and then a more spicy one. Our guests liked the milder one but we liked it so much we bought a can too of the more spicy one. So nice looking at the workshop where it’s made too. All very happy with our tasty purchases.
